People say, so what if my child is creative and is going to be an artist, the next Picasso of our generation; why should I need him to be able to be able to do high level maths or be able to think in a critical, logical manner? Who cares? As long as he can come up with some amazing creations, the best selling piece of art, isn’t that enough to sustain him?
Yes and no.
Generally, people whose brains are developed in all four quadrants do better in life.
What about the successful scientist who has all the money and fame, yet does not know where to begin in a loving relationship with a woman. Or even a man, for that matter. Where does that leave him? Lonely and unhappy.
What about the very creative and clever business woman who had such great ideas to sell her innovative products? Yet after five years, her business dwindled instead of potentially growing into the next Coca Cola due to her lack of organisational skills. She totally let herself down because even though she was doing well enough to hire people with them, she couldn’t manage her own time to even get to that stage.
Just to give you a few examples from my somewhat unused, rusty brain. Honestly, I know of some very successful people out there who are just lacking in some way or other. Such a pity.
And whilst it is not so important that we want our children to be super successful, it is incredibly important that they are happy. It’s amazing how little there is of happy people out there in this day and age.
I mean, truly happy people.

And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
