The Estia Chiangmai

As you may or may not know, we are veterans in Chiangmai. What more, my Sister-in-Law originates from Chiangmai. I’ve been going to Chiangmai over the last 10 years even before T1 was born and stayed at so many different places. A few weeks ago, we stayed at The Estia Chiangmai…………..a trustworthy little boutique hotel that was super value for money. We had such a great time with family over Christmas so thank you, Estia Chiangmai, for making our stay so memorable. I just realised that I did not take any photos of the wonderful swimming pool area because it was winter and we did not hang out there! Alamak!

Here are some photos so if you go to Chiangmai and stay at the Estia, you’d know what to expect. A truly lovely place:

The Estia Chiangmai was an old building that was used by students but I think the owners decided to convert it into a boutique hotel instead as it is walking distance to the Chiangmai night market, literally a 20-30 step walk? Fantastic location to night markets and eateries, great cafes that open late into the night, 24 hour convenience stores and shopping.

.

The entrance is humble flanked by 2 timber doors that lead you into an al fresco dining area.

.

The first sight that catches your attention as you enter are tons of these miniature clay models replicating an entire village. They were hand made by Kanun, the son of the family who run The Estia Chiangmai. Very, very interesting!

.

After admiring the clay art, you will see the waiting lounge.

.

The Estia Chiangmai has a miniature gym in the form of 2 exercise machines and a bicycle, though I failed to enquire if we could actually use the bicycle. Haha.

.

And whilst you exercise, this is your view. I did not take any shots of the washrooms downstairs which were outdoors, silly girl.

.

The bedrooms – this was a family suite that costs less than RM500 for a large space and fit 4 adults. Real value!!!

.

The other side of the suite. My kids, like dogs marking their territories.

.

The view from the twin bed room. I kept thinking the floor towel was crinkled up in a mess but it was actually designed as a nice flower-ish pattern. I’m just backward.

.

The washrooms are simple and enough for us to get by cleanly. Yes, there was hot water.

.

Another washroom within the suite.

.

And a living area to boot with a large sofa that could house 2 more adults making a total of 6! Haha.

.

We highly recommend The Estia Chiangmai if you want trustworthy accommodation that is close in proximity to neighbouring activities of all sorts. Really fun. There are cooking classes just outside the hotel and lots more to do. Their facebook page: Estia Chiangmai – I think there was a photo of the rest of my family in there πŸ™‚

Us and our Hoodies in Chiangmai……do we look like rappers, yo!!!???? In the end, the Hubs sucumbed and got himself a black hoodie. We tried very hard to get him to go red or yellow. Haha. And of course, his had to be branded, one of those real hiking jackets though he claims they were on sale.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
