Christmas 2013

Everything happens for a reason. Last year we spent our first Christmas without the rest of my family and we had a fabulous time just the 4 of us in Penang. There was no Christmas Tree and no presents since the girls had decided that they’d give any presents that they’d received to the Children of Myanmar instead. For me, it was bliss. No pre-Christmas stress! The only setback we experienced unfortunately was my cancer scare over the New Year when I was hospitalised for a few days for internal blockages which thankfully God sorted out in giving me a chance in changing my lifestyle habits. Well, change I did and I am still changing. Changing the lifestyles of my immediate family too as we do not want to end up having the deathly C.

I informed my Mom last year that for Christmas 2013, please do not go to Chiangmai as we really could not afford the trip after her matriarchal order that we were not to spend another Christmas away from each other. She agreed but alas, due to Tok2 getting his dates mixed up (he’s such an old buffalo!!) and having a busy schedule juggling his work and commitments, they had no choice but to put their annual Chiangmai trip to spread over Christmas. This meant that if we were to be together as a family over Christmas, we’d have to fork out at least a few thousand Ringgit. I really did not want to go to Chiangmai because we did not have the budget for it. We checked flights and Air Asia had already gone up to RM7,000+ just on flights for the 4 of us!!! That’s more than what we paid for our trip to Australia!!! Oz was only about RM5,000 for flights. After heavy deliberation and a lot of ding-donging checking all airlines, we decided to bite the bullet to spend Christmas with Mom and family, money we could always make back……..

Thank you to those who pushed me towards that direction! *wink*

We finally flew with Thai Airways which cost only RM4,000+ for the 4 of us but this meant we had to transit in Bangkok. The route to Chiangmai was OK. We left the house at 9am and finally arrived in Chiangmai at 5pm but the flight back to KL was horrendous. We left the hotel in Chiangmai at 10am and got home at 11pm.

No regrets!!! Mom was caught smiling so many times over the last few days when we were in Chiangmai. In our last trip to Perth not long ago, we made special effort to give her happy memories and she did smile a few times but over a lengthy period of 2 weeks whereas here, practically everyday we squeezed smiles and laughter out of her. And we were in Chiangmai for only 5 days.

So. Worth. It.

I fully dedicate 2014 to my mother and my family. Then my work which I just have to do because I want to see the company fly. Everyone and everything else will just have to wait, take a backseat. My true friends will understand my calling to put myself first. It is Him who has asked me to do this and I shall obey, Him who has asked me to put myself first. He always has a reason for everything and I am but a humble servant.

When you open your heart to truly give without expectation, you truly get back leaps and bounds. Here’s to all my readers wishing you a fabulous 2014 with something to ponder.

Just give xx

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!
