You know how every year since Tee was born, we’ve had only one party? Well this year was a little different. We had done so much traveling that Mommy was too darn tired to organise a party so instead, we just had little get-togethers…….and it was the best thing ever.
This was the first get-together we had for family only. Tee said it was the best birthday party she had ever had. She had wanted an adult only party and all attention was on her. As you can see, she is really into Mr Men now, and in particular relates to Mr Noisy and Mr Chatterbox. This cake was a chocolate fudge cake made by a New Zealander and at first, I didn’t like it but it grew on me and I ended up loving it. I’ve never been a fudgy person but eventually, it started tasting like eating real chocolate!!!Everyone else LOVED the fudge!!!
.
This was a little cupcake party held in Tee’s school. She was ecstatic that day. Really, really, really. The Mr Men cupcakes were made by Tee’s teacher’s side business. Haha….yes, Tee’s teacher has a side business, a cake-making business. So naturally, I ordered from her in the hope that she will not scold my dear Tee 🙂 A trick I learnt from KaypoME *wink*
.
This was another get-together with some close friends, just THREE, to be exact. Tee had wanted so many candles that we almost burnt the house down!!! Her happy birthday sign, which was on paper and stilts, accidentally got burnt but luckily we managed to put out the fire before it did!!!So darn scary……
.
This was today on her actual birthday and we happened to celebrate it with her great-grandmother who also shares the same birthday, well, one day apart…….so we took Tee and Gigi (as she is fondly known to Tee) to our favourite Chalet restaurant.
.
Last but not least, this cake is the size of half a bath tub. And Tee got to decorate it and blow candles, yet again!
.
This was part of the TVB8 filming that she did last week where they were celebrating the birthday of a retarded nineteen year old girl. They got to dig into the large cake soon after!
.
So……..it does look like a string of parties, doesn’t it? Believe me, they were all very small with very little effort and best of all, they were all relaxed. Tee didn’t wear any fancy clothes for any of them, I didn’t have to stress out for any of them, and best of all, we were with people whom we could just walk around with unshaved armpits. You know what I mean??? Except for the school party-haha….
OK, now I’m all ready to organise a big party for Tee’s 5th!!! And I know just the party planner to help me!!!
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

DJ will be 4 next month. I am secretly freaking out. I don’t want a big event but, my mommy friends are putting the pressure on THICK! I’ve already mentioned, I can’t keep up with the Jones’, the party will be at the park with Fruit Salad and Cake.
Play on the swings, monkey bars and go home.
That’s about all I can handle. We’ll see what I can come up with.
Thank you for the idea of keeping it simple!!!
