Today, my uncle came over to my place with his one day old brand new Jaguar XF and I got to take it for a spin. Man…………it’s smoooooooooooooooo………………………………….th.
Ever since 1995, my dream car had been the Jaguar XJ220 but up till today, I only have a dark green TOY model. Oh well, maybe one day…….
What was particular nice about the Jaguar XF, apart from the obvious, was the fact that there was no button to open the glove compartment. I thought that was quite cool just because I couldn’t figure out how to open it! You just touch the flat timber panel and the thing pops open gently. Almost like putting your palm on the wall to open a secret chamber. How cool is that?
And then, when you reverse? There is a live photo of what is behind the car to enable you to see exactly what you are driving into. The photo comes up on the GPS screen. That is super cool. You can reverse without having to twist your neck to look back at all!!!
There are many more super cool features that you can find out yourselves if you went to the Jaguar showroom in the Pavillion but hey, Jaguar is now my favourite car again. Bye, bye Volvo….
