Our family is a family of homebodies. We hardly have many friends and do not like being with too many people. We like to be self-contained, like little amoebas in a jar. That’s not to say our minds don’t venture far. It’s just our physical bodies that don’t like catching diseases and such.
Anyway, what were you up to during the 2012 Formula 1 weekend??? I know some of you were busy attending the F1 Gala events, some were snoring away in bed and we? We went for a night drive with the kids!
Why?
So we could frigging drive them to lala-land, that’s why!
Our kids are not sleep trained. T1 can go to sleep by herself but T2 is a nightmare. And sometimes, we just do not want to put up with sleep protests and having to lend her our ‘hand’. I mean, enough is enough.
What did we see on our F1 night drive?
A fully lit DBKL building which I thought was a waste of ELECTRICITY.

Some F1 fireworks which got the kids excited! We were supposed to put them to sleep not get them excited……FAIL.

And a balloon spaceship which got them even more excited floating above the KLCC F1 tent.
As you can imagine, bed time was a lot later that weekend.
BAH.
