• Get Your Family on Board – If your family doesn’t understand that working from home means that you actually work during specific hours, let them know. If you don’t make a point of saying that you don’t want to be disturbed during your work hours, you will be disturbed.
• Have a Specific Work Area – Make a space for yourself where you can work. A separate room with a door is the best. Claim the space for your own. Let your family know that your space is yours. Keep the area organized so you are always ready to get to work.
• Educate Yourself – When you’re working from home, find a way to work some online classes into your schedule. It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in culinary arts or accounting, you can find classes that will fit right into your work at home schedule and help you be more successful.
