Hello Peeps!
I have recently been appointed as one of the Mommy Bloggers for Fab Lovender Moments and as part of this initiative, I am to start a topic for discussion each week for a few weeks. The topics will all revolve around Parenting and Kids, specifically activities for kids. We want your views, your ideas, your experiences and your sharing. You do this in the form of comments on the facebook Fab Lovender Page. In return, you stand a very good chance in winning a trip to Australia for a family of FOUR!!! To visit a real lavender field amongst other things……..
Other prizes include Lavender Spa Vouchers and Weekly Free Fab Lavender Laundry Detergent!
Now I’m not one for prizes and I’ve hardly ever participated in any competitions unless it was at school or something forced out of me. However, I saw the true potential of winning in this and hence I am urging you to join me with discussions on the Fab Lovender Page under my Blog Topics so that you can increase your chances in winning too. Each comment will earn you extra points. The contest runs for 2 months.
So the first topic is this:
Kids Should Be Kids
Kids these days are exposed to technology too much (iPhones, iPads, DVDs, Wii games, Nintendo DS etc) and although I realise that technology already is a part of the lives they are born into, I can’t help feeling that they still need to be the kids of our time. Kids need to play lots at playgrounds, they need to tumble around the park, run in open spaces, climb trees, splash around in streams and explore the outdoors! If any parent gets stuck with ideas on where to go for such activities, I will be most happy to help but more often than not, parents dumping their kids with technology gadgets don’t want to make the effort to go out. What say you? Are you up to going that extra mile for your own children?
I’m not saying don’t give the iPad to your kids. I’m saying everything in moderation. So how does one balance this “modern versus traditional activities for kids” subject? Please share!
Put on your thinking caps and let’s DISCUSS on the Fab Lovender Page – Link it (for points), Share it (for points) and Comment (for more points!). Come on guys, let’s see which one of you is going to win this thing!
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
