I am just so destined not to have a maid. Ever since I started work, I have had a turnover of so many maids and lost money that I’ve lost counting. But the truth is, every time a maid leaves, we are all SO happy. We work together as a family (gotong-royong) to keep the house clean and tidy. This time round, again my maid has left.

I got an Indonesian maid and she lasted all of 2 weeks after which her husband wanted her home.

*BIG SIGH*

So I hire my little maids……..

T2 is very good at cleaning the floor and wiping surfaces.

T1 is good at washing dishes and washing, peeling and cutting vegetables; and even making sandwiches and lots of other chores……

I should really do without one, huh? If only I could, I would. But unfortunately, working full time leaves me very little time to cook so I really need a maid to lift this hassle off my plate. And before you suggest the caterer, I have already looked into this and absolutely NOBODY wants to deliver food to my place. I promise you, if someone could just deliver healthy, nutritious meals over, I would be sorted.

And all my maids are paid above market rate as well. Maybe that’s why.
