How many of you have kids who will sit still for at least 30 minutes whilst waiting for food to arrive whenever you eat out?
If you do, what is your secret??!!!
For us, it’s either we talk to them (which we already do a whole damn lot! Or shut them up with some distractors…..). In my handbag, I keep a small pouch of little tiny cars and when necessary, I surprise them with it. They’re not the matchbox sized cars (too heavy) but much, much smaller and weigh close to nothing.
Broom-Broom……
T2’s not so interested in cars but she’s interested in the physics behind the wheels and movement.
But very soon after, she decided that posing for the camera as a model was much more fun….
Different kids, different interests……
How do you distract your kids at the dining table outside?

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

iPhone n iPad. If not, then a bucket of ice π
I bring a stash of paper and colour pencils for free expression. Or we fold boats and aeroplanes. I like the idea of your cars but I will have to get identical ones else they start fighting for the same darn one.
1. bring small toys n i will be away internet-ing
2. after he gets bored, we start a conversation like..LOok at the plant. can u tell me what makes up the plant, or what do u think the ingredients were… r u sure..let’s ask the waiter..bla bla.
trust me..any food chain that takes more than 15 mins to serve is SLOW n i wont be returning
i hardly carry anything else because water tumbler for us all plus 2 of them is already too heavy to handle. That lil car looks like a great idea ler!! Where did u get them?
when they were much younger, i bring out toys to distract them. now, i don’t and i guess i’m lucky that they sit still (i dont bring out the i-gadgets)…i only find them entertaining themselves with the utensils and what nots on the table. and yes, they do fight now and then but i will ignore them or threaten them to go home.
