Last night, we went to the hospital to remove T1’s stitches. OMG. I didn’t realise that it was a matter of LITERALLY cutting the stitches off with a scissors. Snip-snip-snip. No anaesthetic whatsoever. Ouch.

My hair was all standing as the Doctor pulled the stitch with one gadget and then snipped it with another. Ouch.

And the best part? When he pulls that piece of black string through the skin to get it out before throwing it onto a cotton swab.

But My T1 was ever so brave……

There is a visible scar albeit a short one. And the wound is a little wet still so I’m not sure if that’s a good thing. We’ll see how it goes. Let’s hope it doesn’t get infected.

She hasn’t washed her face in a week and smells like a dog!!!

OK, today Mama will attempt to wash her face with some cotton pads.
