The Hubs has a sister in Arizona and he was saying recently that he’d like to take the girls there to stay with their Aunt for a bit. The woman has 2 properties going on 3 with gardens and a dog or two. It will be fun for the girls. But since we’re already going such a long way, it only makes sense to visit Las Vegas and the surrounding areas. New York seems so far though so the Hubs said we’ll just get Uncle Dave to fly to Vegas and meet us there. Unfortunately, all the Hubs’s sister’s properties are in Arizona so I’m going to have to start searching for apartments for rent in Las Vegas. Hotels are just too expensive for us right now even with Tok-Tok’s international hotel discounts!
Besides, why waste money on hotel costs when you could use the money to shop and everything else? As long as we have a place that’s clean and situated in a good location, we really only ever use the accommodation to sleep. Well, that’s what happened in Florida. We sure didn’t spend any time we didn’t have to in our hotel room. We had Disneyland just outside our door for goodness sake. Who’d want to stay in? Duh. Some of our friends who came from the UK did book an apartment though but perhaps it was because they didn’t have a hotel discount. But then again, Sterling Pounds to the US Dollar…..hmmm……who knows.
