We stayed at a friend’s place – we do that every year. He is an architect (like us) except that he’s Thai and he built his house himself. Accommodation is completely free and even comes with all meals included. Home cooked Thai food – try beating that!!!

Front ot house – the timber strips you see at the front is the back of a bench of a huge dining table which sits on the front terrace under all that foliage. A lovely place for our homecooked meals. Fresh air……and fresh smells…….

This is the guest house located at the back of the family home. It is a timber kampung styled guest house.

This is the entrance to the guest house. Tee LOVED coming here every morning. For some reason, she just loves, loves, loves this house a lot more than the family house. We stayed in the family house and Nana and Tok-Tok stayed at this guest house. Every morning, the moment her eyes open, she will ask to go to Nana’s house. Yes, she has renamed it HER Nana’s house. And we either have to drag ourselves out of bed and ferry her there or listen to some continuous whinging under the covers. The good thing about taking her there is we can quickly come back and have some continued rest whilst Nana and her Tok-Tok are forced to get out of bed – HAHA!!!

On her morning walk to her Nana’s house……

This house is almost like our own holiday home now – we are so comfortable there and so welcomed every year. It is going to be renovated soon (possibly due to our ever expanding family that visits every year!). The Thais eat ‘yow char kuay’ with condensed milk and I absolutely love it. We also had Thai Teo Chew porridge one morning – absolutely awesome……..they are the best hosts we have ever known and come across. It must be a Thai thing……

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
