The Hubs is away and with my new found freedom, T and I have been gallavanting and painting the town red, practically everyday since he left.

With going out comes hours on the road due to our very efficient road planning, NOT. While sitting in traffic jams everyday, it is hard not to notice cars in front with flying projectiles while we are stationary despite the constant chatter behind and my need for concentration to answer the why’s and the what’s. This has happened three times in 4 days.
First, a taxi driver opens his door and slosh! Out floods a plastic bag of liquid, assumedly a drink that he wasn’t finishing. Second, a squashed ball of what looked like a food wrapper of sorts flew out a window. Third, a bone of a chicken drumstick somersaulted out of a beamer! I know this because I’d been observing the kid in front standing while he savoured what was Kentucky Fried Chicken, for sure.
No, using a child car seat is not a prerequisite in this part of the world.
Shameless on both counts – the spinning drumstick from a beamer and the fact we value safety as top priority.
Where do these animals come from? Is it any wonder why we progress as a nation at snail pace?
It infuriates me.
I wish I had money……….
Because if I did, I would buy a tank and run over any vehicle that spits trash. And then I would embarrass the perpetrator by stripping and photographing him/her naked and posting the said violator in the newspapers. With their full names and date of crime.
