In our quest to reorganize the home, I have been looking at bathroom etageres, in particular one etagere that is made of cast iron supports and porcelain shelves. I’m just a sucker for beautiful things, what can I say? Bathroom etageres are great because they instantly beautify your washrooms and gives them a softer touch. However, in choosing your bathroom etagere, you must ensure that it is made from materials that can withstand damp. Because there is really no point putting a piece of furniture into your bathroom when it will just rot away within a few months. Bathrooms are damp places after all!
Etageres are useful pieces of furniture that can hold decoration items such as photo frames, framed certificates that you want to display, objects of art, little paraphernalia, toiletries, books, guest towels and other ornamental display items. It’s really up to you what you want on your etagere!
The word etagere originates from France that translates to a light piece of furniture that has open shelves built for displaying beautiful items such as ornaments.
