What’s the date today? 23rd January. Soccer practice in 6 hours exactly. Nice.

3 weeks into the new year and things are looking good. I don’t know if it is a shift in perspective or if God really is sending His Angels down upon us but good things are happening. Simple things. Like Blogitive is working for me again. For a whole year last year, they got screwy with me but today they are working again. Just like that. Magic.

And recently another Angel booked me some work and bless her, she is the most helpful Mama despite being one of the busiest I know. Really. Last year, I asked a flogger for help and she completely ignored me. See the difference?

I have people cooking for me sometimes. How do I deserve that?! THANK YOU. I really need to pass this on and make sure I don’t poison anyone in the process.

Sales are increasing in my little pre-loved shop. Fun times.

And to the people out there who keep looking after my best interest, who recommend me to others, who consistently speak well of me, who are working towards my betterment, I wish you all the happiness in the world. Truly.

My girls are looking healthy and happy, and really, I am overwhelmed with nothing but pure love for them. They both have this uncanny ability to drive me to the heights of insanity and still bring me to gardens of absolute flowering bliss. They are so talented, and I truly love them to the ends of this Universe.

The Hubs is still making me crack up after what, 12 years? And vice versa. I take that as a good sign. Tonight, we watched The American with gorgeous George Clooney (I’m NOT a GC fan, by the way), but even more gorgeous Violante Placido (see pic below) and I asked the Hubs if he thought she was beautiful. He nodded with that eager look in his eyes. That’s why I love my Hubs. He not only has great taste but he’s also dead honest.

The other night, he left a kettle boiling on the stove for over an hour but instead of scolding him, I took the opportunity to take the piss. He has been in denial about growing old and forgetful and that was of course, the perfect opportunity to put him in his place. Old and forgetful, unlike his young, capable wife. And this is true. Watch me multi-task like a woman on water-skis carrying two kids blowing a balloon whilst talking on the phone simultaneously. I can do that in a pat. Men? No way in hell. Ever. Not even MY man.

Life is GOOD. And here I am spreading out the goodness to you reading right this moment. Life really is good if you believe it to be.
