I usually work in the crazy hours after midnight because it is the only time I work best. I wish I could wake up at 4am instead and start my work day before the baby wakes but the bugger will wake the moment I get out of bed!!! As such, I’ve had to resort to this owl mode because she is too exhausted to notice at night if I am in the room or not. However, I have this problem when I go to bed finally at 4am or 5am, then the baby wakes at 530am or 6am and I’ve only just slept for an hour! I beg her to go back to sleep quickly which she usually does but then I have trouble getting back to sleep!
*frustrated*
Of course, working during the day is out of the question because my baby hardly ever sleeps. And sometimes, even if she does, man, I take that opportunity to have a kip too!
What I need is a natural sleep aid that works. Really. I am so sleep deprived.
