Another gripe I have of The Danna is again for their website designed for geniuses only. Seriously, it is NOT a user friendly website. Thankfully for us, we didn’t make our own bookings or I would have gone ballistic! There is too much choice of rooms (which is a good thing) and too much choice of suites too (which is a good thing). Choice is good provided you can tell the user what the difference in options are. Are we paying RM1000 more for a different view? Is it the linen? Does the suite come with a hot young stud? What???
We were offered Suite 326 which I discovered were the same suite that this lovely couple got married in just a week ago! Well, congratulations to them. I’m sure wedding memories at The Danna couldn’t be more perfect. Just heard today that our first lady stayed there and did not want to leave so extended her stay there.
Apart from the website that does not do The Danna justice at all, you really have to go there to believe it and read the 500 plus reviews from guests that have stayed there on Trip Advisor, me being one of them (guest, not reviewer; not yet). It is so beautiful and contained.
But today, I am only sharing the Suite. If you see below, we were on the top right of the building on the first 3 balconies from the right. That allowed us the views of the sea, the pool and the yacht marina behind. If you want that same glorious view, that corner of the building is the way to go.
.
A closer look at the corner balcony taken from the adjacent balcony. It was huge!
.
And it was Nana’s first port of call……..
.
Next door, there was another balcony that Uncle Ben went to check out.
.
The view of the yacht marina beside. Someone kept lusting after the yachts as he missed his so much so he’s now getting itchy again, thanks to T1 who kept asking if she could get on a yacht.
.
This was the entrance living room of Suite 326.
.
Where we were greeted with these spiced drinks. Nobody liked them except me as I am the health advocate thus anything with cloves and ginger and cinnamon will go well with me, even if it tasted against the grain.
.
The other side of the living room which opened out to the balcony and the bedroom had the TV complete with DVD player, a work desk and a coffee bar.
.
The majestic bedroom which had views to the marina on the left and the sea in front, and its’ own big TV in front too.
.
I loved the windows. When closed, it hinted romanticism of a youthful phase with a glimmer of light and a damn good book. Ahhhh…….me and my day dreaming. If only days as such could return. When??? *SLAP!!!* Wake Up.
.
Radio and alarm clock at bedside table. Those cups were used by T2 for drinking her milk!
.
The Hubs made me take this photo for his new hotel in town – LOL! It is essentially the modern room safety lock instead of the traditional chain lock.
.
Even my little tot had an appreciation for the views…….
.
The coffee machine that came with the suite. I’ve never seen a hotel room that came with a coffee machine thus thought it was a nice touch. We certainly appreciated it.
.
The big bright bathroom…..
.
Double basins with dressing table in between.
.
Toiletries stocked in a little timber chest that opened up to reveal…..
.
This was my favourite mirror because it was one of those magnifying big ass mirrors that showed you just how old your skin truly was. This one had a light switch so you could REALLY see how big your pore really was! I bought one of these from Ikea last year (maybe it was a decade ago, sure feels like it) and the Hubs has STILL not installed it.
.
The wonderful jacuzzi that the kids had oodles of fun in.
.
The view outside the jacuzzi window.
.
The Danna Showers……rain shower and hand held for flexibility and large enough to fit a family. There is even a bench to put your legs so you can wash your toes without bending all the way down or if you wanted to get kinky in the shower.
.
Freshly laundered white towels.
.
The Water Closet room came with a bidet…..and some privacy.
.
Everything was Kohler, not Johnson Suisse……or Goh Ban Huat! Hey, I’m all for Made in Malaysia. I’m just saying….
.
The boring walk in dressing room. It just needed a bit more……mirrors!
.
The Extra Bed where T1 slept in…..does she not look all snug and comfy??? How wonderful to be able to sleep with the sea just outside your window! And I will show you in another post what lies beneath those covers………*smacks head*
.
Literally, outside T1’s window…….
.
Looking down from the balcony……
.
Looking towards the right from the balcony………
.
And the best part of the suite for me? It had WIFI!!! I am such a workaholic……….*sigh*
The Danna. I highly recommend it.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

It all smells $$$$!
wow! very nice and your mama looks so tiny in that huge sofa!
i saw the wedding pics and its very nice!!!
honestly, i didn’t know that The Danna is so magnificent. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary hotel with no beach. I was wondering why accommodation is so expensive. Now I know 🙂 So, did you eat out at Perdana Quay?
this is awesome!!
Fuyoh, what luxury & the view is to die for!
